Fraxel Re:Pair ™ – St. Louis

Dr. Michele Koo is among the few plastic surgeons who uses Fraxel Re:Pair™ lasers which when done correctly can rejuvenate the skin of the face, neck and chest in just ONE treatment. While other facial rejuvenation procedures involve the use of lasers, Fraxel Re:Pair™ lasers can be much more effective in one treatment, while other laser treatments require multiple sessions.

As evidence of Dr. Koo’s dedication to new technologies and procedures, the revolutionary new Fraxel Re:Pair™ allows Dr. Koo to rejuvenate a large surface area of skin without surgery or repeated sessions. By introducing this new technology to her St. Louis practice, Dr. Koo is able to deliver the desired results from the procedure while minimizing patient discomfort and recovery time.

Fraxel Re:Pair™ is the first and only facial rejuvenation technique of its kind to receive FDA approval for wrinkles, fine lines, irregular texture, sun spots and age spots, and sun-induced redness on your face, neck and chest in just one session. The lasers precisely target thousands of microscopic areas of the skin, and penetrates deep to the underlying tissues, allowing fresh new skin to regenerate, giving you a smooth, satin baby finish to your skin.

I will prepare your skin with specialized skin products to control the pigment cells and stimulate new collagen growth even prior to the Fraxel Re:pair laser. While there are many other laser treatments available, the others tend to cost significantly more and require multiple lasering sessions that do not achieve what I am able to achieve in one session.

How Fraxel Re:Pair™ Works

With Fraxel Re:Pair™ I will target the sub-layers (dermis) of skin that house the natural collagen and elastic production. As you age, the production of these proteins simply break down faster than the body can produce them naturally. The body’s natural healing process is triggered by focusing microscopic laser columns into the dermis, creating multiple small “wounds” beneath the surface. By doing this, the production of collagen and elastin are drastically increased. The skin will appear more plump, full, and rejuvenated.

The wounds underneath the surface of the skin, instead of on top, greatly reduces down/recovery times for patients while delivery great results.

I am is proud to offer this procedure as one of the many tools used to create a revitalized and rejuvenated facial appearance.
